Cristhian Castro Chávez

Cristhian Castro Chávez has over 13 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, starting in 2008 with Claro Perú as a Radio Access Network Planning Engineer and Analyst before moving on to Nextel del Perú as a Radio Access Network Engineer in 2013. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Entel Perú S.A. as a Radio Access Network Supervisor, followed by a role as a Data Scientist Specialist. Cristhian also has experience as a Docente TPA and Pre Docente Universitario at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú - PUCP. Cristhian'smost recent job, starting in 2022, is with Ookla as a Business Intelligence Analyst and future Network Data Scientist. Throughout their career, Cristhian has been responsible for network optimization, KPI monitoring, and analysis of network performance to improve the customer experience.

Cristhian Castro Chávez holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from 2004 to 2008. In 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Business Administration and Leadership from CENTRUM PUCP. Cristhian got their Master's degree from EADA Business School in International Leadership in 2014. In 2020, they completed an Especialización degree in Big Data & Analytics from CENTRUM PUCP and an Advanced Analytics & AI Program from UTEC - Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología. In 2021, they earned a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence Applications from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Cristhian also has several additional certifications, including machine learning, data analysis, statistical modeling, deep learning, and neural networks, among others.
