Chetan Ajmera

Chetan Ajmera is an accomplished procurement leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer products sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Procurement Officer at Syngene International Limited since June 2025, Chetan previously held the position of Head of Procurement at Reliance Consumer Products Limited for a brief period in early 2025 and served as Vice President of Supplier Relationship and Procurement at API Holdings from October 2017 to January 2025. During tenure at API Holdings, Chetan played a pivotal role in driving procurement and margin expansion for B2B operations. Prior to this, Chetan held several key roles at GlaxoSmithKline from October 2006 to October 2017, including Global Procurement Director for Generic APIs and Wellness categories, and was responsible for developing global procurement strategies worth £20 billion. Chetan possesses educational credentials from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, holding degrees in Cost Accountancy and Post Graduation in Management.
