Riccardo Degli Effetti currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the MENA Digital Hub Group at Ooredoo Group since November 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President EMEA Operational Readiness & Site Delivery at VIRTUS Data Centres, along with leadership positions at techUK, Amazon Web Services (AWS), CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, Sky, Rackspace Hosting, TelecityGroup, Bloomberg, and Redbus Interhouse Italy Spa. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Riccardo has demonstrated expertise in data centre operations, project management, and operational readiness, alongside responsibility for significant budgets, team leadership, and technical facility management. Education includes a degree in IT programming from ITIS E. Fermi and further studies at Università degli Studi dell'Aquila.
