Michael Kazatsker has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Michael started their career as a Logistics Officer in the Israel Defense Forces from 2006 to 2011, serving in both compulsory and permanent force service. After their military service, they worked as a Security Officer at Camp Echo for six months in 2011.
In 2016, Michael joined KPMG Israel as a Senior Associate Auditor, where they performed audits for public and private companies, prepared financial statements and tax reports, and conducted tests of internal controls. Michael also led and mentored a team of three members. Michael worked at KPMG Israel till 2018.
Following their time at KPMG, they joined ERB - Financial Group as a Financial Controller from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for financial control activities.
Michael then worked at Nike as an Assistant Financial Corporate Controller from 2019 to 2021, before moving to Kazatsker&Kholin - CPA office in 2019. At Kazatsker&Kholin - CPA office, they co-founded the firm and provided financial services to clients, including bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and audits.
Their most recent position is at Oosto, where they started in 2021 as the Head of Finance. Michael oversees the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, manages the company's budget, implements and oversees the P2P process, and handles global bookkeeping and payroll.
Throughout their career, Michael has gained expertise in financial management, auditing, budgeting, and financial reporting. Michael has strong leadership skills and experience in mentoring teams.
Michael Kazatsker has a strong education background, primarily from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Michael obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics in 2014. Following this, they pursued an Associate's degree in Accounting, completing it in 2015. In 2017, Michael enrolled in the university's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a specialization in Finance and Financial Management Services, which they completed in 2018.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael Kazatsker has obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Israeli Ministry of Justice in February 2018.
