Ella Ruutu

Ella Ruutu has a strong background in risk analysis and modeling within the financial industry. Ella began their career as a Risk Analyst at Oy Samlink Ab in 2009 and then transitioned to the role of Risk Manager at OP Financial Group in 2011. Ella later joined Danske Bank as a Senior Risk Analyst in 2017, where they took on the additional responsibility of Lead Analyst in a PD model development project. In 2018, Ruutu returned to OP Financial Group as a Senior Risk Analyst, focusing on the development of internal credit risk models. Ella subsequently progressed to the position of Chief Risk Analyst, specializing in the continuous improvement and alignment of the group's IRB models. Currently, they serve as the Head of Private Person Credit Risk Models at OP Financial Group, leading a team in the development of models for the Private Person segment and credit risk stress testing.

Ella Ruutu obtained their Master of Philosophy degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Helsinki from 2000 to 2007.
