Janne Vara

Janne Vara is an experienced professional currently serving as Relationship Director at OP Financial Group, focusing on medium and large corporate customers. In addition, Janne holds the position of Vice Chairman for the OPH employee association, representing about 400 members, and serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for the Joensuu Opera Association, responsible for organizing significant cultural events. As Chairman of the Board for JoeRu, the Joensuu Reserve Officers Board, Janne contributes to community and defense initiatives. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Nanocomp Oy Ltd., Chief Operating Officer at Blancco Technology Group, and various managerial positions at Nordea Bank Finland. Janne’s educational background includes a BScBA in International Business from the College of Charleston and additional studies at INSEAD and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
