Luciena Xiao

Luciena X. is a quantitative analyst at OP Financial Group since March 2023, following experience as a junior quantitative analyst and risk analyst trainee. Prior to this role, Luciena served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki from July 2021 to February 2023, focusing on algebraic number theory and representation theory, while also contributing as a board member of The Doctoral Programme in Mathematics and Statistics. Luciena's previous position was at the Institut de mathématiques de Jussieu – Paris Rive Gauche as a postdoctoral researcher from October 2020 to July 2021, where research centered on algebraic number theory and the Langlands program. Luciena's academic background includes earning a PhD in Mathematics from Caltech (2015-2020) and a BA in Philosophy with Honors Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame (2011-2015). At Caltech, Luciena also held various teaching roles and contributed to departmental initiatives.
