Nick Dechativong

Nick Dechativong has worked for seven companies since 1999. Their first role was as a Consultant for Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2004, followed by a Programmer Analyst role at ESI from 2004 to 2007. Nick then worked as a Senior ETL Developer at NWEA from 2007 to 2013, followed by a Data Architect role at WebMD Health Services from 2013 to 2017. Nick then worked as a Data Warehouse Architect at Planar Systems from 2017 to 2021, and most recently held the role of Sr. Data Architect at Nautilus Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Nick is currently a Senior Manager of Analytics and Insights and a Principal Data & Analytics Architect at Opala.

Nick Dechativong has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Kasetsart University and an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems from Portland Community College. Nick has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) from TDWI in May 2022, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2022, Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft in December 2020, Big Data Specialization from Coursera in May 2017, Hortonworks Data Platform Certified Administrator from Hortonworks in April 2016, Teradata 14 Certified Professional from Teradata in January 2014, and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert from Microsoft.
