Jiana Huang

Jiana Huang has worked in the software engineering field since 2017. Jiana began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook in 2017, and was promoted to Software Engineer in 2018. In 2020, Jiana moved to Meta, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer. Jiana is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Opaque Systems, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to their software engineering career, Jiana held Research Assistant positions at UC Berkeley's Knight Neuroscience Lab and Lucia Jacobs Lab in 2015. In 2016, they interned at Google, where they designed and created an internal tool to mark dead files for deletion, developed a decision tree algorithm to aggregate data sources, and identified more than 30,000 dead files and 11 million lines of dead code in the codebase.

Jiana Huang attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2014 to 2018, where they studied Computer Science and Cognitive Science. Jiana also studied Computer Science from 2016 to 2018.
