Wenting Zheng is an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University since September 2021 and serves as Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Opaque Systems since January 2021. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant role at CSAIL focusing on multi-core databases, and internships at Facebook and Hulu in software engineering. Wenting Zheng's early research work includes projects at CSAIL on distributed operating systems and at Microsystems Technologies Laboratory on energy harvesting. Wenting Zheng holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
