Abraham M. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Abraham currently holds the role of Chief Business Development Officer at Opdenergy, where they are responsible for leading the company's business development efforts. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Business Development Europe at Opdenergy.
Before joining Opdenergy, Abraham worked at IGNIS Energía as the Director of International Business Development. During their time there, they focused on expanding the company's presence in international markets.
Abraham also has experience in the renewable energy sector, having worked at both Vestas and GE Renewable Energy. At Vestas, they served as the VP of Global Market Intelligence, while at GE Renewable Energy they held the position of EMEA Strategic Marketing Director and Commercial Manager for North Europe.
Additionally, Abraham worked at GE Wind Energy, where they held leadership roles such as Competitive Intelligence & Pricing Leader for Europe, Asia, and MEA, as well as Customer Digital Solutions PM. Abraham was instrumental in developing GE Wind's customer portal, which provided turbine owners and operators with easy access to information and services.
Earlier in their career, Abraham worked as a Consultant at ALTPower, a solar energy firm based in New York, where they focused on developing a strategic business plan for the company's entry into the European photovoltaic market.
Abraham's work experience also includes roles at GE Consumer & Industrial and the Mexican Embassy in Berlin, where they served as a Commercial Operations Manager and an Assistant Economics Attache, respectively.
Throughout their career, Abraham has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in business development, marketing, market intelligence, and strategic planning.
Abraham M. completed an MBA in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Hult International Business School in 2007. In 2013, they participated in the Renewable Energy Project Finance Program at Harvard University, focusing on Financial Modeling and Project Valuation. Earlier, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Universidad de Monterrey between 1999 and 2003. Abraham also pursued an exchange program at Le Havre Normandy University, specializing in Commerce with Asia, from 2001 to 2002. In 1998, Abraham earned a Diplom in German from The University of New Mexico. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Corporate PPA Academy from Pexapark in 2018 and a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma in 2011.
