Samantha Payne MBE

Samantha Payne MBE has a diverse work experience. Samantha began their career in 2013 as a Writer and Photographer for The Islands' Sounder, followed by a role as a Digital Media Producer for Knowle West Media Centre. In 2014, they became a Digital Marketing Manager for Noisy Little Monkey Ltd, a Freelance Business Reporter for The Bristol Post, and a Co-Founder and COO for Open Bionics. In 2016, they were an Innovation Fellow for WIRED, and in 2018 they became a Board Member for the Bristol and Bath Creative Cluster and a West of England Robotics Network Steering Group member for the Bristol Robotics Lab. In 2019, they were appointed as Chairwoman of the WECA Creative Scale-up Fund and a Board Member for the South West Creative Technology Network.

Samantha Payne MBE has a diverse educational background. Samantha completed a Joint Honours BA in Journalism and English Literature at the University of Chester from 2010 to 2013, and also completed a Joint Honours BA in Journalism and English Literature at Whitworth University from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they have completed three Executive Education courses at the MIT Sloan School of Management, including Leadership by Design: Innovation, Process, and Culture in 2021, Building Game-Changing Organizations: Aligning Purpose, Performance, and People in 2020, and Negotiation for Executives in 2020.
