Indrani Banerjee

Indrani Banerjee is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as a Community Volunteer with Open Books and a volunteer for the Sci-Roi India's Return to India Mentorship Program at WINStep Forward. Indrani has also held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, focusing on protein NMR spectroscopy and membrane proteins since May 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Scientific Editor at Cactus Communications, ONE Program Volunteer at Midtown Educational Foundation, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago. Indrani's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master's thesis at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, centered on the spectroscopic study of a multidomain protein.
