Lisa Sniderman

Artist In Residence at Open Circle Theatre, Inc.

Lisa Sniderman currently serves as an Artist in Residence at Open Circle Theatre, Inc. since January 2023 and holds the position of Secretary at RAMPD, an organization focused on amplifying Disability Culture and advocating for accessibility in the music industry since September 2022. As the Owner of Aoede since November 2006, Lisa is an artist, playwright, and advocate for disabled artists. Additional artistic endeavors include work as an artist with Independent Distribution Collective and previous roles with My Record Label. Prior to their arts career, Lisa worked as an Environmental Scientist for the California Coastal Commission from 1999 to 2009, concentrating on nonpoint source water pollution and leading various water quality initiatives. Education includes studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1992 to 1994, complemented by musical training at Blue Bear School of Music.
