Cphr Katrina Welsh

Katrina Welsh has extensive work experience in human resources and recruitment. Katrina is currently the Chief People Officer at Open Door Group. Prior to this, they worked as a Managing Consultant at Stride Recruitment from January 2018 to July 2021. Before that, they held the position of Human Resources Director at BTY Group from January 2018 to March 2020. From August 2009 to December 2017, Katrina served as the Human Resources Director at Open Door Group. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant at AppleOne Employment Services from September 2007 to April 2009 and at Search Consultancy as a Recruitment Consultant from 2004 to 2006, specializing in executive level search within the construction industry.

Katrina Welsh, CPHR, holds a BA (Hons) degree in Communications from Edinburgh Napier University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Recently, in 2021, Katrina completed a course called Indigenous Canada at the University of Alberta. In terms of certifications, Katrina is a member of CPHR BC & Yukon, obtaining this status in May 2023. Katrina is also a Certified Career Development Professional, accredited by the BC Career Development Association.
