Ashley Roose, M.S., SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ashley most recently served as the VP of HR at Open Door Mission, Inc, where they led the human resources function and established HR and IT solutions aligned with organizational strategy. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Organizational Development at the same company, where they designed job descriptions, developed staffing plans, and led capital projects. Ashley also has experience as a Human Resource Manager at Open Door Mission, Inc, where they supported the Board of Directors and revamped internal practices. Before joining Open Door Mission, Inc, they worked at Monroe County as an Executive Secretary, Executive Assistant, and Senior Control Clerk. Additionally, they gained experience as an Accounting Clerk and Receptionist at Harris, Chesworth, O'Brien, Johnstone, Welch & Leone, LLP, and as an Office Assistant at the Town of Greece. Early in their career, Ashley served as an Intern at the International Institute of Buffalo. With a strong background in HR and organizational development, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their roles.
Ashley Roose holds a Master's degree in Strategic Leadership from Roberts Wesleyan University, which was obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Canisius University, from 2006 to 2009. Ashley has also obtained the certification of SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society for Human Resource Management.
