Jenelle Miller, MS, LIMHP, ATR has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jenelle currently works as the Director of Behavioral Health at Open Door Mission since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Art Therapist/Care Coordinator at the same organization from April 2020 to May 2023. In 2018, they founded and owned Nell's Caramels, where they handled all aspects of the business including creation, packaging, marketing, and sales of homemade caramel products. Jenelle has also worked at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as a Research Assistant II from January 2019 to June 2020, and at Tracy's Kids as an Art Therapist Intern from August 2019 to April 2020. Jenelle gained experience as an Art Therapy Intern at McClendon Center from September 2018 to May 2019, providing art therapy services to adult clients with mental illness. Jenelle has also interned at the U.S. House of Representatives, Nebraska Cultural Endowment and Nebraskans For the Arts, Gordon Parks Elementary School, Dynamic Learning Maps, and Cornerstones of Care - Marillac Campus. Jenelle'srole in Cornerstones of Care involved administering trauma-informed individual, group, and family psychotherapy services to at-risk children and adolescents.

Jenelle Miller, MS, LIMHP, ATR, has a strong educational background in the field of psychology and art therapy. Jenelle obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Art Therapy from Concordia University, Nebraska, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Counseling Psychology at The University of Kansas, which they completed in 2018. Most recently, they furthered their education at The George Washington University, where they obtained a MA in Art Therapy Practice from 2018 to 2020. With their extensive education and training, Jenelle is equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide effective art therapy services in their professional endeavors.
