Open Door Mission
Michael Humphry has a diverse background with experience in education and technical support. Currently serving as a Learning Center Assistant at Open Door Mission since March 2019, Michael oversees daily activities for students, many of whom are working towards obtaining their high school diplomas. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Ag Processing Inc, where responsibilities included help desk support and system administration. Earlier experience includes serving as a Customer Solutions Ambassador at Nebraska Furniture Mart, focusing on training customers in Apple products, as well as assisting in sales for the computer department. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Bellevue University and a high school diploma from Burke High School.
Open Door Mission
Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day Open Door Mission’s campus offers 917 safe shelter beds to homeless men, women and children, serves over 3,500 nutritious meals and provides preventive measures to more than 275 people living in poverty. To meet the basic physical needs of the hungry and homeless, the Open Door Mission’s day facility services provide free transportation from the downtown area to Open Door Mission and Lydia House. Open Door Mission offers life-changing programs for those recovering from life-altering addictions and abuse to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
