Matthew Redding is an experienced professional in advocacy and global campaigns, currently serving as Head of Advocacy and Global Campaigns Strategist at IFEX since April 2015. Responsibilities include developing strategic directions for campaigning and advocacy, particularly in areas such as Civic Space, Right to Information, and Safety & Justice. Previously, Matthew held various positions including Network Engagement Specialist and Campaigns and Advocacy Coordinator at IFEX, as well as Blog and Social Media Coordinator at the International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect. Additionally, Matthew has experience in project management and research through roles at the Centre for Security Governance, Security Governance Group, and CIGI. Matthew holds a Master of Global Governance in Conflict and Security from the Balsillie School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History from Ryerson University.
