Anna Miller has extensive experience in policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Head of Policy & Advocacy at Doctors of the World UK since September 2015. In this role, Anna leads initiatives to enhance the organization's impact in health policy debates and translate field experiences into actionable projects that promote the right to health. Previous roles include Operations Officer at the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, Law and Policy Intern at Fair Trials, Campaigns and Policy Intern at Crisis, and Legal Probono Intern at A4ID. Anna began their career as a Refugee Unit Caseworker with the British Red Cross. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in History from Newcastle University and a Master's Degree in History: Africa/Asia from SOAS University of London.

Doctors of the World UK is part of the global Médecins du Monde network, which delivers over 400 projects in 80 countries through 3,000 volunteers. We're experts in primary health care, as well as: maternal and child health; HIV/AIDs and infectious disease; conflict and crisis; and migrant populations. We work in emergency situations, and also for the long term. Since opening in the UK in 1998, we have raised more than £15 million for overseas programmes, helped more than 8,600 service user here in the UK, and fought for healthcare as a human right for all.
