Amy Horton

Amy Horton has extensive work experience in the sales industry. Amy currently holds the position of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at Open Farm Pet, a role they have held since July 2022. Before joining Open Farm Pet, Amy served as the Senior Vice President of Sales from January 2021 to their current role. Prior to that, they were the VP of Sales at the same company from January 2019 to January 2021.

Before their time at Open Farm Pet, Amy worked at Merrick Natural Petworks for a significant portion of their career. Amy started as a Regional Sales Manager for the Western USA from January 2006 to January 2008, where they successfully launched Merrick's dry and wet dog and cat foods nationwide. Amy then became a Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern and Central USA from January 2008 to October 2010. Amy's final role at Merrick was Group Vice President, where they led the field sales team and training programs, overseeing 70% of the company's revenue stream. Amy'stenure as Group VP lasted from September 2013 to 2018.

Before Merrick, Amy worked at Nature's Variety as the Director of Sales. During their time there, they successfully introduced raw pet foods into pet specialty distribution channels and achieved sales growth from zero to $12 million in the first year. Amy spent three years in this role from 2002 to 2005.

Amy's earlier work experience includes a role as a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car from 1999 to 2002 and a Sales Associate position at Hallmark Cards from 1992 to 1999.
