Eduardo Bejar

Eduardo Bejar serves as the Executive Director of Fundapi since August 2001 and has held several significant positions in various organizations, including a Principal Member of the Artificial Intelligence Committee at the Ministerio de Telecomunicaciones y Sociedad de la Información and a member of the Advisory Group on Civil Society in Data Governance and Artificial Intelligence for the Organización de los Estados Americanos. Bejar has been involved with the Open Government Partnership since 2018, actively participating in multiple open government forums across Ecuador. Additionally, Bejar is an Ambassador for Ecuador at the Open Knowledge Foundation and has served as a consultant for the Global Data Barometer with ILDA. As an educator, Bejar has taught fundraising and emerging technologies at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Data Science from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and various diplomas in e-Government and public administration.
