Jaime Mercado

Jaime Mercado joined OGP in March 2017. He leads OGP’s governance work, including providing strategic support to the OGP Steering Committee and its subcommittees. Prior to OGP, Jaime worked as an international development consultant with a focus on open government and transparency programs at the World Bank, the Organization of American States, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Transparency & Accountability Initiative. Jaime holds an MA in International Relations from the Barcelona Institute for International Studies (IBEI), and a BS in Criminology, Law, and Society from George Mason University.
