Praveen Raj Kumar

Praveen Raj Kumar serves as the Deputy Director for Policy & Transformation at Open Government Products since July 2022 and for the National Healthcare Group, focusing on the development of Healthier SG support structures for general practitioners since July 2021. Previously, Praveen Raj Kumar was with the Ministry of Health Singapore for seven years, holding roles such as Senior Assistant Director, where expertise was demonstrated in creating the first regulatory sandbox for telemedicine, establishing guidelines for opioids and AI, and managing licensee engagement under the Healthcare Services Act. Earlier experiences include strategic roles at Singapore Management University, where contributions involved the Vision 2025 plan and developing international university alliances, as well as corporate planning at the Singapore Institute of Technology. Praveen Raj Kumar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Purdue University.
