Ravi Mehrotra

Honorary Chief Medical Officer at Open Health Systems Laboratory

Ravi Mehrotra, MD, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Ravi is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Open Health Systems Laboratory (OHSL), where they are also a member of the Scientific Council. Additionally, they are the Director of the Indian Cancer Genome Atlas ICGA Foundation. Dr. Mehrotra has held several positions in the field of public health and research, including being an Affiliate Investigator at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center's Cancer Prevention Program and a Member of the Standing Editorial Board for the International Cytopathology Reporting system at WHO-IARC. Ravi has also served as the Founder of the CHIP FOUNDATION and as a Research Advisor at Datar Cancer Genetics Europe GmbH. Furthermore, Dr. Mehrotra has held academic positions as an Adjunct Professor at Emory University and as a Visiting Professor of Public Health & Society at the University of York. Their expertise and contributions in the field of cancer research and public health have made him a valuable asset in various organizations.

Ravi Mehrotra, MD, PhD has a diverse education history. Ravi obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the Armed Forces Medical College, where they studied medicine. Ravi pursued further training in Cytopathology at the University of Pennsylvania and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

In addition to their medical degrees, they also completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Pathology and a D.Phil. degree in Life Sciences from the University of Allahabad. Furthermore, they hold a Fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) in Histo and Cytopathology.

During their education, they attended St. Joseph's College in Allahabad, where they earned an ISCE degree in Science. Ravi also received a Fellowship in Pathology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences.

To enhance their skills and knowledge further, Ravi Mehrotra has obtained additional certifications. Ravi completed a program on Developing Resourcefulness from LinkedIn in April 2023. Ravi is also pursuing a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (Histopathology and Cytopathology) from the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath).
