Kevin McCarthy

Kevin McCarthy is a highly experienced Senior Systems Administrator currently at Open LMS, a role held since March 2020 after the product was spun off from Blackboard, where Kevin worked from May 2011 to March 2020. During the tenure at Blackboard, Kevin contributed to the maintenance of 2000 Moodle instances across eight datacenters and provided Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support for Moodlerooms/OpenLMS products. Prior experience includes positions as a School Information Systems Consultant at TANDEM CONGLOMERATE, CSR Tier 2 at Plateau Systems, and Opera Support Analyst at Micros Systems. Kevin holds an AAS in Database Management from Anne Arundel Community College and both MS and BS degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland.
