Executive Vice President at Open Loop Energy

Bart Hoisington began their work experience in 1998 at Open Loop Energy as a Shop Technician, where they worked until 2006. In 2007, they returned to Open Loop Energy as a Shop Foreman and later became the VP/Regional Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President at the company.

Bart Hoisington completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management from Grand Canyon University from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, they attended Safford High School from 1997 to 2001.

In addition to their educational background, Bart Hoisington has obtained certifications in the field of fluid power and hydraulic mechanics. Bart became a Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist (CFPHS) under the International Fluid Power Society in May 2014. Earlier, in May 2009, they acquired the Mobile Hydraulic Mechanic (MHM) certification from the same institution.

Open Loop Energy, Inc. was founded in the spring of 1992 as an Arizona corporation. It began operations in Safford, Arizona, a central location to serve the Southwestern mining and construction industries.The core business was centered on hydraulic component repair and reclamation. In its modest beginnings, there were three original shareholders and two employees.The building of 11,500 square feet, contained a complete machine shop, hydraulic rebuild shop, weld shop and corporate offices. Since then Open Loop Energy has grown in all areas of its business. The Safford, Arizona facility now has five shop buildings, and a chrome shop, with a total of 77,000 square feet and over 100 employees. In 1998, an additional facility was opened in Winnemucca, Nevada. With a shop of 11,000 square feet, and 20+ employees it serves the mining and construction companies in the NV, ID, and UT areas. Also, in 2013 a satellite shop was opened in Salt Lake City, UT. The company wide employment total now exceeds 120 people serving US, Canada, and South American customers. Over the years Open Loop Energy has earned a reputation for being innovative in its repairs and extending the life, safety, and usability of components. It has also worked with mining partners to develop leading edge solutions for maintenance, production, milling, and safety. Having technical expertise in design, troubleshooting, and manufacturing, distinguishes the company as far more than a repair shop.
