Larry Peterson

Larry Peterson is an accomplished computer scientist with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as an Author and Toolchain Specialist at Systems Approach LLC since October 2020, Larry also holds the position of Chief Scientist at the Open Networking Foundation and is the Robert E. Kahn Professor of Computer Science, Emeritus at Princeton University. Larry's previous roles include Strategic Advisor at Akamai Technologies from 2012 to 2016 and Chief Scientist at Verivue Inc. from 2010 to 2012. As CoFounder and CEO of CoBlitz LLC from 2007 to 2010, Larry played a pivotal role in developing a Content Distribution Network (CDN) software startup spun out of Princeton. Larry's academic career includes a professorship at the University of Arizona from 1985 to 1998, following the completion of a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Purdue University from 1980 to 1985.
