Timon Sloane

Timon Sloane is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the networking industry. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Aether Project at The Linux Foundation since February 2024, Timon also holds the position of Executive Director and General Manager at the Open Networking Foundation (ONF) since November 2016, where responsibilities include marketing, ecosystem transformation, member relations, certification programs, and standards development. Prior to these roles, Timon co-founded and was the VP of Marketing at Ananki, a spin-out of ONF, and worked as a product strategy and management consultant at Ericsson. With a strong background in product management and marketing, Timon has also held leadership positions at High Tech Momentum, Matisse Networks, Extreme Networks, WebStacks, Network Equipment Technologies, and FlowWise Networks. Timon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
