Areeba Yasin

Areeba Yasin has a diverse work experience spread across various organizations and roles. Areeba started their career as a Machine Learning Intern at Caremerge in 2018. Following this, they worked as a Program Assistant at American University, where they had roles at both the Center for Diversity and Inclusion and the Summer Sisters Exchange Program. Areeba then served as a Program Management Fellow at PAKPAC USA. Areeba later took on the role of Director of Communications at Georgette Gomez for Congress (CA-53) and Director of Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility at District of Columbia College Democrats. Areeba also worked as a Project Consultant for Student Engagement and Belonging at Miramonte High School. Areeba gained experience as a Government and Civic Relations Intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Areeba also worked as a Research Analyst at DiversIQ and as the Founder & President of the Young Professionals Initiative at OPEN Silicon Valley. Their most recent work experience is as a Development Manager at SF New Deal.

Areeba Yasin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from American University. Areeba also attended Miramonte High School. In addition to their formal education, Areeba has obtained various certifications, including Foundations of Project Management from Coursera, Using Tableau to Discover Powerful Business Insights from LinkedIn, Salesforce Essential Training from LinkedIn, The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2022: Go from Zero to Hero from Udemy, and several others.
