Arun Gupta

Arun Gupta is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for Open Ecosystem at Intel Corporation since April 2022. Gupta chairs the OpenSSF Governing Board and serves as a member of its governing board while also advising Katanemo and leading the Ted AI Open Source Hackathon at TED AI, focusing on addressing significant global challenges aligned with UN sustainability goals. Additionally, Gupta is an alternate member of the Linux Foundation Governing Board and has held prominent positions such as Chairperson of the CNCF Governing Board and Head of Open Source Program Office at Apple. Prior experience includes roles at the Open Container Initiative, Amazon Web Services, and Couchbase, along with a solid educational background in Computers and Electronics from notable institutions in India.
