Asanga Rajakaruna

Asanga Rajakaruna, CISSP, currently serves as the IT Security & Operations Manager at Open Universities Australia, a position held since April 2014, with previous experience as Application Support Lead. Prior to this, Asanga worked at IFS Defence from January 2008 to September 2013 as an Application Support Consultant and was a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from July 2005 to September 2008. Asanga's career began at IFS R&D Ltd., where responsibilities included Software Engineer from 2000 to 2004. Educational credentials include an MBA in Project Management from the University of Wales, Cardiff, completed in 2013, a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa (2000), and completion of the CIMA Finalist program (1998). Additional qualifications include certifications in ISTQB Foundation and ITIL Foundation, obtained in recent years.
