Jean-Baptiste Laffont

Jean-Baptiste Laffont currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Openvalue since March 2015, focusing on internal functions while providing technical consulting. Laffont has extensive experience in data architecture, leading teams in large-scale projects, and implementing robust technical solutions using Big Data technologies on platforms like Microsoft Azure and Databricks. Previous roles include Data Architect for a world leader in the construction sector, where responsibilities included coaching developers and establishing data lakes, as well as developing predictive applications within Agile frameworks. Earlier career experience includes data engineering at KXEN, an SAP Company, specializing in predictive analysis, and a test facilities engineer internship at Thales Airborne Systems, where application development for military systems was undertaken.
