Director, Aerospace/DoD at Open X

Landen Seal has over seven years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry. In 2020, they began working as the Director of Aerospace/DoD at Open X, where they were responsible for establishing partnerships across the Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing & Engineering Go To Market Vertical for Modern Digital Technology Training. Landen was also fundamental in four SBIR awards, resulting in $1,550,000 non-dilutive. Additionally, they served on the Advisory Board for the Pierce County Skills Center, advising Instructors on industry-focused education topics and curriculum for manufacturing.

From 2015 to 2020, Landen worked as the Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Automation and CNC Machining at METALTECH. INC., where they were responsible for all Manufacturing Operations related to Computer Numerical Control Machining. Landen led all manufacturing finance operations, including customer contract negotiations and CapEX purchases in excess of $10,000,000.

From 2013 to 2015, Landen worked as an Aerospace Machinist and Numerical Control Programmer at Precision Machining. In this role, they were responsible for leading critical manufacturing operations of high-value Aerospace & Defense contracts. Landen worked with Engineering to automate and streamline the production of several high-value customer contracts, resulting in dramatic cost-savings and time-savings while improving Supplier Quality Score with Primes.

Landen Seal attended Bates Technical College from an unknown time period, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Machining. Landen then attended Stanford University for two Certification Programs, first in Product Management from 2016 to 2017, and then in Digital Transformation from 2017 to 2018.
