Alexander Ter Haar

Alexander ter Haar has a diverse work experience spanning from their role as a researcher at TU Delft, where they focused on superconducting quantum devices, to their position as a Director of Product Management at Open-Xchange, overseeing DNS solutions. In between, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Stratix Consulting and as a Product Manager for M2M communication at KPN.

Alexander ter Haar completed their primary education at Basisschool de Zilverberg and then went on to study at Elshof College, where they obtained their VWO degree in 1993. Alexander continued their education at Delft University of Technology, earning a degree in Quantum mechanics and solid-state physics in 2000. Later, they pursued a PhD at the same university from 2000 to 2005, focusing on Physics, nanoscience, and superconducting quantum circuits for quantum computation. In 2022, Alexander obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management from Coursera.
