Rowan Kurnett is an accomplished engineering professional currently working at Open since December 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Technical Lead at Mothership from March 2020 to November 2022, where significant contributions were made in optimizing real-time data streaming and developing an integration test suite, as well as mentoring junior engineers. Prior to that role, experience as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Mothership involved building a customer dashboard. Additional valuable experience includes front-end development at Girlboss, where a community web app was successfully launched, and freelance consultancy for the California Community College Chancellor's Office. Rowan also served as a Full-Stack Web Developer and Instructor at Hacker Lab, managing various projects and developing curriculum for web development courses. Educational background includes an Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Sierra College.
