Chengos Lim

Chengos Lim is an experienced professional in child safety and content moderation, currently serving as Child Safety Lead at OpenAI since August 2024. Prior to this role, Chengos held a position on the Board of Directors at Technology Coalition, Inc., focusing on combating online child sexual exploitation. Chengos has held significant roles at Roblox as Director of Safety and at Dropbox as Head of Content Safety, where responsibilities included building and leading content safety teams, managing reports of policy violations, and addressing high-priority cases. Previously, at Facebook, Chengos founded a global team dedicated to combating online child enticement and collaborated with various departments to enhance site safety measures. Early experiences include serving as a Resident Assistant at Stanford University, where oversight of student well-being was a priority. Chengos holds both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University, along with a high school education from Escola Americana de Brasilia.
