Chris Leary is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in software and hardware development. Currently, Chris serves as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since May 2024, following a notable tenure as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google from August 2013 to April 2024, where Chris led initiatives in hardware tools and founded the Accelerated Hardware Synthesis project. Prior experience includes roles at Calxeda, Inc. as a Software Engineer, contributing to cross-stack technology, and at Mozilla Corporation as a Compiler Engineer, working on the SpiderMonkey JavaScript virtual machine.
