Katrina Mulligan

Katrina Mulligan is a seasoned expert in national security policy and strategic partnerships, currently serving in a role at OpenAI focused on national security. Prior to this, Katrina held significant positions within the United States Department of the Army, serving as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of the Army, providing strategic advice across various domains. Katrina has also worked as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Ops and Low Intensity Conflict at the U.S. Department of Defense, effectively managing a large team to implement critical changes in military operations. Previous roles include leadership positions at the Center for American Progress, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, with contributions to the National Security Council and campaign logistics for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. Katrina holds a Juris Doctor from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago.
