Yongjik Kim

Yongjik Kim is a seasoned software engineer and technical expert with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since December 2021, Yongjik has previously contributed to notable companies such as Houzz as a Software Engineer from March 2018 to December 2021, and Google, where Yongjik held software engineering roles from 2008 to 2015. Yongjik's career began at Tmax Soft as a Senior Researcher in the RDBMS Development Team from September 2003 to October 2007. Yongjik holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Physics & Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
