Roel Bosker

Roel Bosker has extensive experience in the field of educational sciences, serving in various academic and advisory roles since 2003 at the University of Groningen, where positions include Honorair hoogleraar onderwijswetenschappen and Directeur GION onderwijs/onderzoek, among others. Bosker also held the role of Directeur of the Graduate School of Behavioural and Social Sciences from 2015 to 2017 and has been involved in several oversight and advisory capacities, such as a member of the Raad van Toezicht for Openbaar Onderwijs Groningen since 2018 and Koninklijke Kentalis until 2020. Additionally, Bosker has contributed to the Onderwijsraad as a Kroonlid and chaired committees focused on early education and evidence-based practices. Prior to these roles, impactful positions included Advisory Board member at the Inspectie van het Onderwijs and Professor of Educational Evaluation at the University of Twente. The educational background includes a PhD from the University of Groningen.
