Anna Kogan (Petrovicheva)

Anna Kogan (Petrovicheva) has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and deep learning. Anna is currently the Chief Technology Officer at OpenCV.ai, where they are responsible for creating AI products and providing consulting services to Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups.

Prior to their current role, Anna worked as the COO at CVAT.ai, a popular open-source data annotation platform. Anna was responsible for leading business development efforts in the company.

Anna is also a co-founder of Xperience AI, where they worked from 2017 to 2020. Anna'srole involved working with teams worldwide on developing deep learning and computer vision algorithms and products. Anna focused on optimizing neural networks for edge devices using advanced compression techniques. Anna was involved in the full pipeline of machine learning product development, including data preprocessing, creating model architectures, and optimizing networks for target hardware.

Before joining Xperience AI, Anna worked at Intel Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Anna developed deep learning and computer vision algorithms for various Internet of Things (IoT) scenarios, such as object detection, semantic segmentation, person reidentification, and multi-object tracking. Anna was responsible for implementing efficient algorithms that worked in real-time on CPUs and engineered software products for smart image and video analysis.

Prior to their time at Intel, Anna worked at Itseez as a Software Engineer in 2016. Anna created deep learning algorithms for various computer vision scenarios, primarily for IoT applications. During this period, Intel acquired Itseez, and Anna was involved in finalizing activities in various projects and also contributed to OpenCV.

Anna previously held a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2016, where they worked on the Intel Data Analytics Acceleration Library. Anna contributed to software development for data analytics acceleration.

In 2012, Anna worked at Itseez as a Software Engineer. Anna designed and implemented Android camera features for the NVIDIA Tegra platform, including ObjectRemoval and DramaShot. Anna also contributed to OpenCV and maintained a GitHub repository.

At the start of their career, Anna worked as a Junior Software Engineer at AETP from 2011 to 2012. Anna conducted research and implemented computational linguistics algorithms using linear programming and computational methods. Anna focused on developing effective algorithms for text categorization and ranking.

Anna Kogan (Petrovicheva) began their education at the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky (UNN) in 2008. Anna completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics in 2012. Upon completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Language Interpretation and Translation at the same university from 2010 to 2013. Following their Bachelor's Degree, Anna Kogan (Petrovicheva) continued their studies at UNN and obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Graphics, which they earned between 2012 and 2014.
