Brandon Gilles

Brandon Gilles has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Their most recent roles include being the Founder of Luxonis and serving as the Chief Architect for OpenCV AI Kit. In these positions, they specialized in Embedded Performant Spatial AI and Computer Vision. Prior to that, they worked as the UniFi Lead at Ubiquiti Networks. Brandon also has experience as an RF Engineer at FIRST RF Corporation, where they developed RF electronics for various applications. Before that, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Pure Energy Solutions, Inc., where they focused on developing cost- and size-minimized switching converters. Brandon also has experience as an Embedded Systems Intern at the NASA Space Grant Consortium and as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they worked on satellite and Mars lander projects. Additionally, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Atmel Corporation.

Brandon Gilles completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in the years 2004 to 2008. Brandon further pursued their education and earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university in the years 2008 to 2009.
