Roger Jennings is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the semiconductor industry.
Roger currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at OPENEDGES Technology, Inc. starting in 2022.
Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, Roger worked at Arteris IP as the Senior Director of Engineering. In this role, they led hardware development for cache coherent and non-coherent NOCs, managed teams across multiple sites, and served as the Site Director for the Austin, Tx design center.
From 2015 to 2020, Roger held various roles at Intel Corporation, including Director of Engineering and Manager of CPU Architecture and Performance Modeling. At AMD, Roger held several roles from 2003 to 2012, including Sr. Engineering Director for Low-Power Microprocessors, Engineering Director for Low-Power Microprocessor Cores, Senior Design Manager, and Senior Member of Technical Staff. During their tenure, they managed the development of low-power microprocessor cores, led teams for silicon developments, and successfully delivered SOC products.
Roger's career began at Tippingpoint in 2002 as a Design Engineer, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of networking intrusion prevention chips.

Roger Jennings holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both obtained from The University of Memphis. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the Wine Business Management Certificate from Sonoma State University Wine Business Institute and the WSET Advanced certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Roger also has several online certifications in the field of Machine Learning, including various Coursera Course Certificates and edX certification in Distributed Machine Learning with Apache Spark. Roger also possesses a Winemaking Certificate from UC Davis.
