Arvind Ramachandran

Arvind Ramachandran has a diverse background in scientific development and research. Arvind is currently working at OpenEye, Cadence Molecular Sciences as a Scientific Developer I, specializing in scientific software development and engineering tasks. Prior to this role, they were a Scientific Software Developer at the same company.

Arvind's previous experience includes working as a Software Developer at Arizona State University, where they were responsible for software development for the Thermodynamic Analyzer project. Arvind also served as a Graduate Research Assistant during their time at Arizona State University.

Before joining Arizona State University, Arvind worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Columbia University in the City of New York. Arvind also gained industry experience as an Energy Consulting Intern at Evonik.

During their academic years, Arvind served as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and as a Summer Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.

Arvind Ramachandran has a strong educational background in engineering. Arvind earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Civil, Sustainable, & Environmental Engineering from Arizona State University, where they studied from 2015 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University from 2013 to 2015. Arvind'sBachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering was obtained from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their academic degrees, Arvind Ramachandran has also obtained a certification in Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: CA Employees V3.2 from Traliant in April 2022.
