Jakub Kaminski has gained extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Jakub started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the California Institute of Technology from February 2011 to April 2013. After that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA from April 2013 to October 2015. Following their time at UCLA, they joined the Paul Scherrer Institut PSI as a Software Engineer from November 2015 to December 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineer at OpenEye and Cadence Molecular Sciences, starting in January 2020. Jakub has also served as an Academic Mentor at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics for a short period in June 2013, where they successfully led a group of students during the Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS) program sponsored by Intel Corporation. Overall, Jakub has demonstrated expertise in software engineering and has contributed to multiple projects throughout their career.
Jakub Kaminski completed their education at the University of Geneva, where they pursued a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from 2006 to 2010.
