Jose Batista

Jose Batista has diverse work experience in the scientific and software development fields. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Scientific Developer at JADO Technologies GmbH until 2011. Afterwards, they joined AstraZeneca as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they transitioned to OpenEye, Cadence Molecular Sciences, where they held multiple roles including Scientific Software Developer, Senior Toolkit Specialist, Head of Scientific Integration, and currently serves as the Sr. Scientific Integration Manager.

Jose Batista earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from The University of Bonn from 1999 to 2004. Jose later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Life Science at the same institution from 2006 to 2009.
