Paul Hawkins

Paul Hawkins is a Senior Principal Product Evangelist at OpenEye and Cadence Molecular Sciences since August 2023, bringing extensive experience from previous roles including Senior Principal Scientist at Apertor Pharmaceuticals and Principal Scientist at Recursion Pharmaceuticals. With a career that began at OpenEye Scientific in 2005, Paul held various positions such as Research Fellow, Head of Scientific Solutions, Applications Science Group Leader, and Senior Applications Scientist, focusing on developing scientific messaging and managing scientific solutions teams. Prior experience also includes serving as Applications Scientist at Tripos Inc. and Principal Investigator at ArQule, leading collaborations for antibacterial agent discovery. Paul holds a PhD in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of St Andrews.
