Brian Tellez

Brian Tellez has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and database administration. Brian has been working at OpenEye - The Cloud Video Platform since 2013. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Software Engineering, leading a team in designing and developing cloud-centric software solutions for video management, business intelligence, and loss prevention. Brian previously served as the Principal Database Architect and Manager, where they significantly increased the scalability and performance of the company's database solutions. Prior to joining OpenEye, Brian worked at PAML as a Database Administrator from 2007 to 2013. Brian was awarded an Exemplary Service Award for their team leadership in supporting the enterprise data and reporting platforms. Brian also worked as a Software Engineer at Pentad Systems, LLC from 2006 to 2007.

Brian Tellez earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Brian has also obtained certifications from Microsoft, including the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) for SQL 2012/2014 in November 2014, and the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) for SQL Server 2005 in April 2011.
