Benjamin Ayers

Benjamin Ayers has a comprehensive work experience spanning over a decade. Benjamin started their career at Mirus IT Solutions as a Service Desk Analyst and later moved to Computrad Europe Ltd as an Internal Systems Engineer. Benjamin then joined Hasbro as an IT Support Specialist before transitioning to The Final Step as a Technical Support Analyst.

In 2016, Ayers joined WE Communications, where they held various roles including International IT Support Engineer, Senior International IT Support Engineer, and Systems Engineer. Following this, they worked at GoCardless as an IT Engineer, contributing to projects such as implementing a Secure Email Gateway and migrating engineering teams to Jira.

Ayers then joined Tessian as a Senior IT Engineer, where they played a role in overhauling AV systems and reconfiguring networks for a more consistent experience. Benjamin later moved to Freetrade as a Senior Workplace Technology Engineer, where they created user-enablement automations for Slack and provided training for new joiners.

Currently, Ayers is working at OpenGamma as the Head of IT, leveraging their expertise and experience in IT infrastructure engineering.

Benjamin Ayers completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Information Technology at Zenos IT Academy in 2011. Prior to that, they attended The Buckingham School - Specialist Sports College from 2005 to 2010. Benjamin also obtained various certifications in the field, including Microsoft Certified Professional certifications and CompTIA A+ IT Technician certification. Additionally, they hold multiple diplomas and awards related to IT and telecoms.
